The Twin City Kiwanis Club is dedicated to supporting dozens of nonprofit youth organizations, most of them in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina and a few internationally based.

The Twin City Kiwanis Club also gives charitable donations to a number of local youth-service organizations at various high schools, and the groups use the funding to help pay their expenses to attend their organizations' meetings and conferences.  A list of the youth organizations that received funding in 2015 follows:

In 2013, the Twin City Kiwanis Club donated $27,388 to 28 nonprofit youth organization in Forsyth County and two foreign countries.  The four largest donations went to:

• Children of Viet Nam ($3,611)
• Mineral Springs Middle School Builders Club ($1,980)
• Imprints for Families ($1,625)
• Ronald Reagan High School Key Club, Pfafftown, N.C. ($1,507)

2012 DONATIONS:

In 2012, the Twin City Kiwanis Club donated $30,305 to 18 nonprofit youth organizations in Forsyth County and two foreign countries.  The four largest donations went to:

• The Second Harvest Food Bank’s Kids’ Café ($6,500)
• The Children’s Home ($5,300)
• Children of Viet Nam ($3,386)
• and the Old Hickory Council, Boy Scouts of America ($3,250) 

This was the largest donation that the club has made in its 55-year history.  The donations, awarded by the club’s youth programs and support committee, come from proceeds from the club’s annual Pancake Jamboree.
